Projects represents an essential activity in the EPI formation that helps in the development of competences required for the professional life. Indeed, in the EPI, we think that the assimilation of competences is more effiscient when it is followed by a practical part through the diverse projects realised in addition to the internships.

Starting from simplistic themes in the first year programs, these projects become more complex with the technical content added up to the end of the course. Also, every student in the EPI will realise four projects throughout his course followed by oral soutenance.

Gatherd in teams of 3 to 6 members, students work on the projects that they have chosen.  The purpose here is to construct specifications for the creation of an object. Every team is supervised by a pedagogical and scientific supporter ( according to the chosen  courses ICCS or TIC) and a pedagogical supporter from the language and personal development departement (PLDP) and finally a sponsor, 4th year student.

Still within groups of 3 to 6, students move to the realisation of the specifications objective established through the mini-project in the context of a competition. Therefore , they are still supervised by two pedagogical supervisors : the first belongs to the attachment departement of the student, the second belongs to the PLDP.

It si about gathering a group of  3 to 6 students as one team to work on a specific problem that is the often tackled by the entreprise. For students, the general idea is to realise a micro-study of develoment. Therefore, they have to measure the problem through industrial visites, knowledge of the specific and technical tools available in the entreprise. They are guided by a superviso from the attachment department of the student.

It's about implementing the gainde competences in order to realise a project that is generally suggested by the entreprise which allows students to be projected in the professional world. Students are present for a full time inside the entreprise and usually in pairs and they are supervised by a teacher.
